A lesson in gratitude: why you should listen to your people

Giving thanks to the people who make our products, business, and communities stronger.

A lesson in gratitude: why you should listen to your peopleWe have so much to be thankful for. Here at AmeriTex, I’m thankful for our suppliers, our customers, and our competitors—we’re all working for the greater good of our industry. Most of all, I’m thankful for every single member of our team.

We listen to our people.

Our team members are not only really good at their jobs, they strive to learn and improve. So, when someone has an idea about how to do something better, we listen. Collaboration is just how we operate because we work so closely together every day. The nature of our work demands it. But we also demand more from each other.

Helping each individual realize his or her potential makes the entire team stronger. Every single member of our organization makes a crucial contribution to the success of our business and our customers. We’re all part of a team working toward a shared vision.

That’s how we’ve revolutionized the way that concrete pipe is made. We’re able to deliver a superior product every time. Our people are committed to the highest possible level of quality control at every single stage of our state-of-the-art manufacturing process.

Each month, AmeriTex honors someone at each of our locations with our Crushing It Award. It’s how we put a spotlight on members of our team who consistently step up with a commitment to excellence, a strong work ethic, and a positive attitude. There’s no shortage of nominees.

If you’d like to join us, we’re always looking for qualified individuals who want a career for the long-term with real growth opportunities—both in responsibilities and income. We celebrate and share each other’s success. We’re thankful that our team members can support their families and make an impact in our communities.

We’re a group of high-performing people, with even higher standards, working together in an organization that feels like family. And some of us are actual family. There are several families who have members of different generations working here. It’s a testament to how well we get along. We’re all here to support each other, learn from each other, and lift each other up.

Don’t take my word for it. Listen to our people.

Focused on your success,

Rocky
