In Texas, bigger really is better. AmeriTex is growing.

In Texas, bigger really is better. AmeriTex is growing. Our philosophy is to put the customer first. So, continual improvement and sustainable growth are the driving forces of everything we do. We’ve been working on some big plans behind the scenes that are coming to fruition and I’m excited to share the news.

AmeriTex is building a new plant for the DFW market that’s scheduled to open in 2020.

Our customers inspired and motivated this decision. Requesting feedback is a crucial element of how we improve. In customer survey responses, the majority cleared asked us to expand our service area. And in conversations with contractors, some would ask if we were ever going to open a Dallas location and others would ask if we could offer adjacent products in a single delivery. Our new Dallas facility ensures that we’re better able to meet their needs. As our Founder Kevin Thompson put it,

“Our Dallas location will allow us to serve our customers throughout Texas while retaining the unique culture and customer relationships that we have built.”

We’re dedicated to being at the forefront of innovation for reinforced concrete products throughout Texas. The source of that strength is our people, process, and products.

Building on what we’ve learned to improve our process.

We’ve revolutionized how concrete pipe is manufactured in our state-of-the-art, high-capacity facilities in Seguin and Conroe, Texas. Both of which are strategically located for responsive service and timely deliveries. Our Seguin plant serves the growing Austin, San Antonio, and Corpus Christi markets, while our Conroe facility serves the thriving coastal Houston and East Texas regions. Our new location in Dallas will complete our delivery coverage across the state.

All of our facilities are designed for the most efficient workflows. So, we take what we learn at one facility and apply it to the rest. We strive for continuous improvement in all facets of our operations. And it shows in our extreme attention to detail and quality control at every stage of the manufacturing process.

In fact, we are QCast certified, which means we follow a rigorous 124-point inspection process established by the American Concrete Pipe Association to ensure the quality of our raw materials, equipment, handling and storage, and finished products. We were also the first company in Texas to earn the prestigious and stringent TxDOT self-certification for both reinforced concrete pipe and box culverts.

The fact that we control every aspect of production from start to finish ensures that we deliver the highest quality products every time. That’s why we invest in state-of-art equipment and advanced automation that reduces the time required for clean- up and maintenance. So, we can extend our production time to produce the highest quality products in the shortest possible lead time.

We put our customers first with products that are second-to-none.

In addition to our high capacity, our facilities have the flexibility to serve any need from small residential developments to the largest highway projects. We stock ready-to-ship products in most standard sizes and configurations. And when a customer requires specific dimensions, joint types or strength ratings, our advanced facilities can easily re-tool to their exact specifications.

We manufacture reinforced concrete pipe in diameters from 12” to 144” for storm drainage, culverts, and jacking and tunneling applications. We have reinforced concrete box available in sizes from 3’ x 2’ to 14’ x 14’ for any drainage and underground detention projects. Plus, reinforced arch pipe ranging from 13 ½” x 22” to 40” x 65” for restricted vertical clearance or minimum cover conditions.

Our people are truly our greatest asset.

Our state-of-the-art facilities and equipment wouldn’t be worth much without the know-how and hard work of our people. From our detail-oriented production and quality control staff to our knowledgeable sales team, our people are dedicated to helping our customers and each other. We’re excited for the opportunities this growth will bring to our team in Dallas.

Stay tuned for more details in the Spring. And if you have any questions about our expansion, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Focused on your success,
Rocky
