The only things stronger than our products are the people in our community.

Some of our team at AmeriTex were recently privileged to spend some time with the Conroe Firefighters Association. It’s nice to know that they appreciate that our products are nonflammable, which can make battling fires easier. Even more reassuring is how these brave firefighters go above and beyond to help people in need in the Conroe community.

The Conroe Fire Department has a 501c3 charitable foundation that manages a benevolence fund to help firefighters and their families facing tough times, such as medical issues or damage caused by Hurricane Harvey. The foundation also supports the Montgomery County Youth Services, the Muscular Dystrophy Association, and Coats for Kids.

On behalf of the entire AmeriTex family, we were thrilled to present a check at Conroe Fire Station #1 that will help support their charitable efforts. Our employees in Conroe are also stepping up to participate in the firefighters’ annual coat drive to ensure younger kids in the community receive a new coat this winter.

It was thoughtful of Lloyd Sandefer, the foundation president, to express his appreciation for our support. However, we are the ones who are truly grateful for the service and good work that these firefighters and their foundation do in our community.

When good people come together with a common purpose, great things happen.
